The USB does need to be “jiggled” when connected to the Sony Walkman to maintain synchronisation. This is the only reason for 4 stars, not 5. However, this may well be due to the age of the MP3 player rather than an issue with the USB connector. After trying to find a replacement lead for over 2 years I am delighted to finally be able to update the tracks on the device. I previously purchased leads from other sites but they were only capable of recharging the battery, not to connect to the laptop. A very happy customer overall.
